Forever Green Farm formed our first IEA team in 2012 and we were the first team in Louisville and the second team in the state of Kentucky. We have proudly taken multiple riders to regionals, zones and the national finals. IEA, or interscholastic equestrian association,  is for riders in grades fourth through 12th .

These team competitions differ from our normal horse shows. Students have to catch ride the horse that they draw prior to competing. So, the rider will not have an opportunity to try out the horse or practice before competing. This allows the judge to see the rider’s ability to ride different horses on a level playing field. 

Each individual earns points at IEA shows to qualify for regional Competitions, with the Goal to advance to zones and national finals.

This is a college prep program and prepares riders for college riding programs and scholarships

Starting in 2024, Forever Green Farm was proud to join with Valley View Farm in forming Team Legacy.
