Here at Forever Green Farm/ Valley View Farm, we are invested in you and your journey into the equestrian world. We tailor all lessons to your individual goals, and we strive to create knowledgeable and confident equestrians. Horseback riding supports mental health, boosts confidence, and is great physical exercise.

We use a curriculum with a level up system that will test for mounted and unmounted milestones. Students are encouraged to “level up” and test quarterly. They are presented with badges for the levels they pass.

We offer monthly workshops in topics such as nutrition, vet care, Farrier, saddle and tack fit, bits, breeds and colors, groundwork, anatomy, horse markings and identification, grooming, and many more topics.

Each student will receive a curriculum workbook, goal setting journal, and Forever Green Farm saddle pad.

Our goal is to develop the next generation of equestrians, not just riders. Horsemanship is developed as you grow and spend more time with the horses and at the barn, not just in the saddle. Riders cannot learn all of the necessary skills required to become good horse people in a once a week lesson format and with only saddle time. Riders learn how to set and achieve goals and follow their progress through our program

We have designed a comprehensive educational program that is geared towards the beginner to intermediate riding student. An Equestrian is skilled when they understand a wide range of aspects beyond just riding. They learn lifelong skills such as assertiveness, determination, responsibility, strong work ethic, leadership, respect, achievement, self esteem, teamwork, and empathy.

Our goal is to develop well rounded, well educated equestrians who not only ride well and succeed but have horse management knowledge and skills. A true understanding of horses.
